This special edition of REVOLUSIS was created in conjunction with International Women’s Day (Hari Wanita Sedunia) to highlight the lived experiences of young women in Malaysia.
The story follows Vitya, Violet, Puteri, Pen, and Tirana as they attend the annual Women’s March. Through their perspectives, the graphic novel reflects real-life experiences of discrimination and violence faced by women and girls in Malaysia—both online and in public spaces.
Their journeys highlight the strength and resilience of young women, showing how they continue to stand up for truth and justice despite challenges such as online gender-based violence and social backlash. It also emphasises the importance of solidarity, collective action, and support among peers.
